The Netgear router login can be done either through its local web address of routerlogin.net or through the local IP 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. The Netgear router login window then needs to be authenticated with the default login credentials which are “admin” and “password” respectively.
What is IP 192.168.1.1 login?
This is the most basic method and widely used address for getting to the router login window. This address is the local static IP address of the router at which it is addressed. This local IP 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 however is a bit hard to remember and the users usually end in entering the wrong IP address in the address bar. Therefore, we recommend you to use that custom web address of routerlogin.net to get to the setup page.
Routerlogin.net vs 192.168.1.1 OR 192.168.0.1
http://routerlogin.net and IP 192.168.1.1 is one and the same thing when it comes ato their working. You can use one of these two addresses to get to the admin setup window of your Netgear wireless router. However, it is advised to use the web link routerlogin.net to gain.
